🧐 What is a sauna hat?
- A sauna hat protects your head and hair from overheating and allows you to sweat longer
- Hot air rises in the sauna – without a hat, your head gets much hotter than the rest of your body
- With a sauna hat, the heat is distributed more evenly, allowing your whole body to tolerate the heat for longer
- Sauna bathing becomes more pleasant, safer, and you can tolerate longer sessions with a hat

🐑 What are the sauna hats made of?
All our beanies are made from 100% Norwegian wool and are handcrafted in Bergen. We use leftover materials from Norwegian textile production and collaborate with VTA companies (Adapted Work for Life). In other words, our beanies are a premium product that is both sustainable and socially responsible.
📐 What size are the sauna hats?
All our sauna hats come in one-size that fits most heads – both women and men. The elasticity of the wool allows the hat to conform to the head and sit comfortably without feeling too tight. The fit of our sauna hat is something we often receive praise for!
👒 What is the difference between a sauna hat and a sauna hat?
No big difference – they are just different names for the same product!
- Sauna hat and sauna cap are often used in Norway and Finland
- Sauna hat and bath hat are used more in German and English-speaking countries
No matter what you call it, the hat insulates your head when exposed to the heat in the sauna or steam room, allowing you to sweat longer while protecting your hair from drying out.
🧼 How do I wash my sauna hat?
- Wool has self-cleaning properties, so we recommend airing it after use
- If the beanie needs washing, we recommend hand washing in lukewarm water (30 °C) with a mild wool detergent
- Avoid wringing or rubbing vigorously - this can damage the fit
- Dry the beanie flat, preferably on a towel or bathroom floor – do not tumble dry
📦 What are the shipping costs and how long is the delivery time?
- We offer flat rate shipping throughout Norway – 79 kr
- Fast delivery to your door or nearest pick-up point within 3-8 business days

- The product must be unused and in its original condition
