Mystery Peshtemal
Mystery Peshtemal
Two of the world's oldest bathing cultures in one towel.
The peshtemal comes from the hammam tradition – the thin, tightly woven cotton towel Turks have wrapped themselves in after steam baths for hundreds of years. We found them while looking for the right accessories for the løyly ritual, and they belong there: light enough to drape over your shoulders between rounds, dries quickly, gets softer with each wash.
This is our very first selection – a small batch we hand-picked to test the quality before deciding which ones to stock permanently. 100% Turkish cotton, high quality, but each one is unique in pattern, color, and shape. Therefore, we sell them as they are: you get one, we choose it by hand, and no one else will have the exact same one.
15 pieces. When they're gone, they're gone.
