What's the story behind this sauna hat?
In short: good materials, good people, and a love for saunas. This is how Løyly hats are made... The beautiful felt we use is crafted the old-fashioned way at the museum factory Sjølingstad Uldvarefabrikk. Here, Norwegian-produced wool is washed, carded, and felted - by lovely old machines from another era.
The vibrant new felt is then sent to us in Bergen, where we deliver it to our skilled employees on vocational rehabilitation measures at ALF AS. Here, the felt is transformed into the hats we love. The result of skilled cutting, sewing, and a good dose of love - are fantastic sauna hats!
